What is ‘Direct’ Reiki?

Direct Reiki was so called because of its properties, which I will address later on in this manual. The entire healing system is focused on one symbol in particular. It is given, in attunements, through the third eye Chakra in particular.

This symbol was given to me from the source and it took me several months to fully understand its uses.

It happened like this:

I was dreaming one night that I was in a graveyard. It was night and the moonlight lit the ground around me, which was covered by a thin mist. I began searching along the rows of graves and I was looking for something. Finally, I reached the corner of the graveyard where I approached a grave decorated in oriental dragons; they were coloured yellow and red.

In the centre of the grave was a symbol, which burned brightly in its colours, Red and turquoise. As I looked at it, it surrounded me within a blue light and the symbol shone very brightly and entered through my ‘Third eye’ Chakra, filling me with energy.

I awoke and understood fully what the dream had meant. The symbol was still in my mind, with its colours shining brightly.

I immediately tried to use the symbol and as I had also awoken with a headache, I placed my hands in the aura either side of my head and concentrated on the symbol in my mind.

The energy was so soothing that it took the pain in minutes and then I felt the numbing qualities that the energy possesses.

Twenty-one days after this night I came to a realization that I had just gone through a cleansing, which is normal following an attunement. I had changed my diet radically to rice vegetables and fish and ate only this throughout the whole twenty-one days.

I told my dream to my closest friend, Carl, who is also a student of mine. Over the next few months, whilst working with Reiki, I was guided to use the symbol more and more. Exactly one month after the night of the dream I attuned Keith, another student of mine, to Reiki level one. Throughout the attunement I felt myself guided to pass on the symbol, which had been given to me, and I attuned it into his crown and also his ‘Third eye’ Chakra. I also passed the symbol on to many of my other students who agreed to help me discover its full potential. During the next few months I noticed that my ability to learn and absorb information had greatly increased. I could understand things that I could only just grasp before. Using the symbol I noticed that some of the sensations of using this symbol are a tingling and slight pressure in the forehead.

I believe that Direct Reiki is a more masculine energy then I was used to. I gave it the name ‘Direct’ as that is exactly how the energy is. It is direct in every way and gets to the source of the issue or illness immediately. It also possesses properties for giving instant pain relief with a numbing feeling that spreads throughout your body. Direct Reiki is a very enlightening experience for the practitioner and the patient and connects on a very personal level.
